Reflections For The New Year

Psalm 90:12, “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”

We are reminded in this Psalm that time is passing rapidly and soon our time here will end.  The conclusion to this observation is that we should number our days, not that we can know the exact number but we know that they are but few, and then to apply our hearts unto wisdom.  So as we enter a new year we want to be careful not carry over any baggage from the past but attempt to use the days ahead to the very best advantage. Time is a precious commodity so we should seek each day and in every activity to live to the glory of our Savior Jesus Christ.
