What Makes For Peace

We are to be tirelessly pursuing peace with other members in the body of Christ.Do you love Jesus? Then love his people! Do you want to spread the fame of Jesus to the ends of the earth? Then the means by which this must be accomplished, according to Jesus himself, is that in the oneness of his disciples the unbelieving world may know that the Father sent the Son into this world as the only Savior.Do you see your own need of the only Savior for sinful humanity? Then rest in his work, on the cross on your behalf, and then publicly profess your faith in Christ… not only in baptism, but also then by forbearing one another, and forgiving one another just as Christ forgave you.
