Those Who Are of Faith Are Blessed

"Oh, Foolish Galatians!" Paul is in disbelief at the the level of unbelief that has seeped into the Galatian churches.Paul sees the bigness and urgency of the problem. Do we? The Galatians are not drug addicts, worshiping idols, or becoming secular. Rather, they are very religious. But they are adding to the gospel of Christ, as though it is not enough to free them, to forgive them, to save them.Paul even describes such deception as "bewitching." If we ever start to think our church attendance, clean living, or charitable acts in any way add to the work of Jesus on the cross then we, too, have become bewitched. But those who continue in faith, trusting in Jesus alone for their salvation, are truly and eternally blessed.
