How to Discern God's Direction

Although the Bible does not give us any simple formula for discovering God's will in every decision we make, it is itself an inspired book filled with principles we can apply to every day life. Thankfully, Scripture also contains narrative in which we get to see other faithful Christians putting these principles into practice in order to find success.In Acts 16, we have a glimpse into the decision making of Paul and his traveling companions, as they seek to determine God's directing in their lives. Four very helpful principles flow out of Paul's story, which will assist us in discerning God's directing in our lives as well.
