God's Word Is Authoritative

We conclude our series "In Praise of God's Word" by considering the authority of Scripture.By speaking infallibly to us in Scripture, by perfectly revealing his thoughts to us in the Bible, God has invested his Word with his very own authority.What Scripture says to us, God himself says to us. When Scripture is read or proclaimed, it must be submitted to as God himself must be submitted to. If we want to know what God has to say to us, we must look to what he has revealed to us in Scripture.
