Glorify God By Finishing Your Work

"I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do" (John 17:4).Someone has called this statement the essence of an uncluttered life: it is knowing what God wants you to do and doing whatever it takes to finish it.Most of the complications in our lives — emotional, spiritual, financial, or otherwise — come, not because life is so complex or the decisions that we face are so momentous or mysterious, but because we are discovering how difficult life is when we ignore God’s clear, unchanging, always-true Word!We glorify God by finishing the mostly-simple (but not easy) work that He has for us to do on earth.... and looking to Christ as our Redeemer when we fail to do so.
