As we begin a new year…

As we begin a new year, we look back with thanksgiving for the many blessings enjoyed in the year that has just ended and we recognize the great need of the Lord’s grace to face the challenges and opportunities in the year before us.

We see humanistic thinking gaining ground in our society, much criticism of the exclusive claims of Christianity, and the influence of the world to draw people away from their commitments to Christ in the family and the church.

But! We know that God is able to work as in old times: “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” Let us pray that we all will be given wisdom and courage to serve the Lord and faithfully proclaim the gospel of Christ.

I ask for your prayers that the Lord will bless our effort to send out the gospel by radio, the printed page, and the internet. And I pray that the resources available to you on this website will help jump-start your New Year with the power of the Holy Spirit, working through his Word.
