We begin today’s broadcast with that well-loved hymn by Isaac Watts Joy To The World.
Certainly it is a message of joy that the Lord is come. Whether you believe that Jesus was born on December 25th, or in the spring of the year, every day can be a day of joy to consider his virgin birth and that he came to save sinners.
The subject of our message for the two preceding weeks was Glory to God In The Highest, and we hope that as many turn their minds to the birth of Christ on this day that we all may rejoice anew that the Savior was born.
For today’s message we bring the first part of a sermon that was preached on New Year’s Eve last year. As we wind down the old year and look forward to the new it is a time for renewal.
