Beware of Anger

From the series: “Beware of Small Sins”, Vol 2

“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: neither give place to the devil” (Ephesians 4:26-27).

A Christian wife, grieved by her unbelieving spouse’s sinful behavior, disguises gossip and exaggeration under the pretense of a prayer request to friend.

A conscientious minister, pained by some false doctrine or wrong practice he observes in a fellow minister or church, soon finds himself spreading bitter resentment against those with whom he is displeased.

A saint who holds certain standards for child-rearing, or dress, or TV-watching is offended by another brother or sister’s different (and maybe truly lax) standard, and is then guilty of taring down that person’s reputation or questioning their sincerity or faithfulness.

Join Justin Huffman as he unpacks what sinful anger looks like, and how to keep Satan from using it in our lives.
