For many years we have introduced our broadcast with an invitation to “stay tuned for another message of God’s sovereign grace.”
Actually, saying “sovereign grace” is like saying “wet water”. Grace is dispensed from the hand of our sovereign God and he bestows it according to his good pleasure. The word itself conveys the thought that it is not something which can be merited but is a blessing given according to his will and purpose.
In today’s message we cite biblical reasons for declaring that it is sovereign grace which is given of God. The text is Ephesians 2:4-9.
