“Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding” (Proverbs 17:28).

It’s funny in a cartoon — or when we see it played out in someone else’s life — but it is a timely reminder for many of us.

As Solomon would also write elsewhere: “A fool… is full of words” (Ec 10:14).
