Train up a child in the way…
Posted by: Justin on May 20, 2008As I post this video, it has received 5,519,837 views on YouTube (that’s more than twice Justin Timberlake’s Superbowl ad). The two things that I think make it exceptional? First, that a two year old can sing, on key, an entire hymn. Second, that a two year old knows the Lord’s prayer by heart.
The first we have no control over as parents (as will be quickly evidenced by all my children, I’m afraid). The second should be true of all of our children, from the earliest days of their life.
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6).
