Two Men - Two Ways (part 2 of 2)

TWO MEN—TWO WAYS

Psalm 1

Following the introductory message for the series, Sermons From The Psalms, we now look at the first Psalm. Here we see a contrast between the godly and the ungodly. Throughout the Scriptures there are numerous contrasts between two men. There was the first Adam by whom sin was brought into the world and there is the second man Adam Who is the redeemer of fallen sinners. We observe the contrast between Cain and Abel, Ishmael and Isaac, Jacob and Esau and Christ and the Antichrist. We also note the contrast between two ways—one that seems right and the other which is right. We look at the abundant blessings found in the way of the godly and the destruction which lies ahead for the ungodly.
